HCM is pleased to announce the appointment of Sean Kefferstan, AIA to Chief Operating Officer (COO).
In his new role, Kefferstan will oversee the firm’s operations and project delivery processes, ensuring consistent execution of HCM’s strategic goals across all offices and studios. As COO, he will lead operational standards, resource planning, project delivery excellence, talent development, and firmwide alignment to drive continued growth and exceptional client service.
Kefferstan has been a key leader at HCM, serving as Principal and Project Manager in the firm’s Housing/Mixed-Use/Planning Studio. He has built a reputation for delivering complex multifamily and mixed-use developments while fostering collaboration across teams and disciplines. He has extensive experience spanning the full project lifecycle, from concept planning through construction completion, and has played a leading role in advancing HCM’s project delivery initiatives.

As COO, Kefferstan will work closely with the rest of HCM’s executive leadership team to strengthen operational performance, support strategic growth initiatives, advance leadership development, and ensure the firm continues to deliver innovative design solutions for its clients.
