In association with local architect Sizeler Thompson Brown Architects, New Orleans, we provided design services for the new 9-1-1 and Emergency Operations Facility for Orleans Parish, Louisiana. The fully hardened and secured facility encompasses 20,000 SF and supports the needs of emergency communications, the Emergency Operations Center, and administrative support functions.
HCM | Schrader also provided design for temporary and interim facilities for the 9-1-1 agencies whose existing facilities were rendered unusable in 2005 by Hurricane Katrina.
